news RaceShare announces support for RoR initiatives for 2025–2026

10th September 2025

Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) is delighted to announce a new partnership with RaceShare, a leading racehorse ownership syndicate who will be supporting the RoR Showjumping League 2025–2026 alongside other initiatives.

This exciting league provides former racehorses with a platform to demonstrate their talent in the showjumping arena. Open to riders across the UK competing at affiliated and unaffiliated level, the league culminates in finals classes held at the Jockey Club RoR National Championships at Aintree in August 2026.

RaceShare’s support for the league comes alongside a £5,000 pledge to RoR’s The Big Give Christmas Challenge 2025, a match-funding campaign that helps maximise the impact of charitable donations during a week in December, which last year raised over £7,000 for RoR’s core programmes of work.

David Catlow, Managing Director of RoR, said: “We are thrilled to be joining up with RaceShare for these initiatives across the 2025-2026 season. Their commitment enables us to provide more opportunities for former racehorses and their riders, as well as to continue to support the welfare of those ex-racehorses that need us.”

Lucy Delaney, Managing Director of RaceShare said: “At RaceShare we recognise that owning a racehorse comes with the responsibility for what happens to the horse when their racing career is over. We’re delighted to be partnering with the RoR on the 2025-26 Showjumping League and The Big Give Christmas Challenge, as a way to support the fantastic work the RoR do to widen the opportunities for former racehorses.”
